Tomato "Casanova" is an unusual and highly popular mid-season variety of Siberian selection (bred by V. N. Dederko), famous for its highly original elongated shape with a split bottom and high yield.
  • Plant type: Indeterminate (tall). Grows up to 1.8–2 meters in greenhouses, and slightly shorter in the open ground — about 1.5 meters. Requires mandatory staking and suckering; shows the best results when trained into 1–2 stems.
  • Maturity: Mid-season (approx. 110–115 days from germination).
  • Fruit: Heavily elongated, cylindrical, up to 15–20 cm long. Fruit weight ranges from 150 to 200 grams.
  • Color: Bright red when fully ripe.
  • Flesh and flavor: The flesh is firm and meaty, with almost no liquid and a minimal amount of seeds. The taste is pleasant and sweetish.
  • Yield: Very high — with good care and proper agricultural practices, you can harvest up to 10–12 kg per square meter (the bushes are literally loaded with fruit).
