()
30-day lowest price:
The rare collector's tomato variety known as "Sosedka dala 200-1" (literally translated as "The Neighbor Gave It 200-1") has an unknown folk origin, presumably being a local variety from the city of Oryol. It is primarily distributed through private breeders and Latvian tomato catalogs.
Main Characteristics of the Variety:
- Bush Type: Indeterminate (tall). In greenhouse conditions, it easily grows up to 1,7-1.8 meters. It requires mandatory staking (tying) and pruning (suckering).
- Ripening Period: Mid-season. It features a prolonged fruiting period that lasts until the first autumn frosts.
- Fruit: Large, heart-shaped. The average weight ranges from 200 to 500 grams.
- Color: Pink, dark pink
- Flesh and Flavor: When sliced, the flesh is very meaty and sugary (sacharine texture). It has few seed cavities, and there are almost no seeds. The flavor is rich and sweet, with a pleasant aroma.
- Purpose: Primarily for salads (fresh consumption, juices, and sauces).
