Kolkhoznaya koroleva (Collective Farm Queen)
- Plant type: indeterminate (tall). It grows up to 2 meters in a greenhouse and about 1.5 meters outdoors. It must be tied to a support and have its side shoots removed (usually trained to 1–2 stems).
- Ripening time: medium-early (about 90–100 days from emergence to harvest).
- Fruits: flattened-round or rounded heart-shaped, with a rich raspberry or reddish-raspberry color.
- Fruit weight: 200–300 g on average; individual fruits can reach 500 g.
- Taste: juicy and sweet, with a slight refreshing tartness. The flesh is meaty.
- Uses: primarily for salads, as well as for making juices, sauces, and homemade preserves.
- Yield: high
- Tolerance: the variety sets fruit well despite temperature fluctuations and tolerates both cold and heat.
The “Collective Farm Queen” tomato is a popular tall variety with large raspberry-colored fruits.
